Hello SOS members. Yes, we know it’s been hot but still hope you will venture out to participate in the fun activities planned for
August!
August 2025 Events:
Tuesday, August 5th 5:30: Board meeting at Round Table Pizza on Browns Valley Parkway in Vacaville. All members are welcome to attend.
Saturday, August 9th: 10:00 a.m. Brunch at Pure Grain Bakery (11 Town Square, Vacaville). If you want to walk at Alamo Creek Park, meet Rich at 9:00 at the park. Brunch at Pure Grain will follow. RSVP to Rich by August 7th at 707-628-3148.
Wednesday, August 13th 5:30: Dinner at Mel’s Diner (171 Nut Tree Parkway, Vacaville). RSVP to Dianna by August 11th at 712-269-7441.
Saturday, August 23rd: Bob Green concert at the Moose Lodge (6585 Gibson Canyon Rd., Vacaville). Doors open at 5:30. Concert begins at 7:00. Food- BBQ meatballs, potato salad, roll, cookie. Tickets $25.00. Contact Denise at 707- 803-7059 for tickets.
Sunday, August 31st 10:00 a.m.: Trip to the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. Fourteen unique wineries, food trucks, shops. Meet at Baskin Robbins parking lot (formerly Big Lots) at 10:00 a.m. to carpool. Drivers needed. RSVP to Rich at 707-628-3148 by August 27th.
Friday, August 1st and Friday, August 15th 6:00-8:00: Music in the park in Fairfield.
August 1st: Lee Bell Park, 1401 Washington St., Fairfield. Band is Los Cochinos.
August 15th: Woodcreek Park, 1470 Astoria Dr., Fairfield. Band is Top Shelf Classic.

Creekwalk Concert Series: Starting June 20th and running through August 1st from 6:30-9:30 every Friday at Creekwalk Plaza in Vacaville.
