Hello SOS members. With fall arriving on September 22nd, it’s time to squeeze in those last summer activities! Hope to see you at September events!

Mystery Theater: Are you interested in participating in a mystery theater on Saturday, September 6th? This would be a matinee at 2:00 for $20 per person. Location is the Saturday Club in Vacaville on Kendall Street. We would go to dinner in Vacaville afterwards. Please contact Lena at 707-365-4632 by August 22nd so she knows who’s going. September 2025 Events:
Tuesday, September 2nd 5:30: Board meeting at Round Table Pizza on Browns Valley Parkway in Vacaville. All members are welcome to attend.
Sunday, September 14th 1:00: Decanter painting and bling class at the Moose Lodge (6585 Gibson Canyon Rd., Vacaville). Food provided. $25/person. Contact Denise at 707-803-7059 for tickets.
Wednesday, September 17th: Trip to San Francisco via the Vallejo ferry. Meet at the Baskin Robbins parking lot (formerly Big Lots) in Vacaville to carpool at 10:00. Depart Vallejo by ferry at 11:00 to arrive in SF at 12:00. We will have lunch and have time to explore. Depart SF at 4:35 to arrive in Vallejo at 5:35. It’s best to use the SF Bay Ferry app to buy tickets, but tickets can also be purchased on the ferry. RSVP to Connie at 707-474-2670 by September 12th.
Sunday, September 28th 11:00 a.m.: Champagne brunch at Rich’s house (857 Sage Drive, Vacaville). Bring a potluck dish (check with Rich about what’s needed). RSVP to Rich at 707-628-3148 by September 23rd.
Town Square Music: Starting August 7th every Thursday from 5:00-8:00 in Vacaville.
Filling Station Music: Every Wednesday until the end of September. Location: 2529 Mankas Corner Rd., Fairfield.
